I did not, in fact, stay up till midnight. I was pedestrian and went to bed before 9.
On the whole, I am glad it is 2012 and not 2011 any longer. Here is to a better year!
On another note, as of last month I have had this blog for four years. If I post less, it's mainly because I spend less time on the computer doing anything other than working on the thesis that never ends.
(it will end. It will end in about four months. This is much more concerning than neverendingness. I am going to go write chapter two.)
