Sheltering Branch 2011

Friends, friends.

I know you know we know I have been to many iterations of Sheltering Branch Bahá'í School.

But this was the best ever.

We had a lot of really great things.

We had Red Grammer. Do not be confused, people: it's great that he is a kind of Bahá'í celebrity and all, but that's not why it was so awesome he was there. It was awesome because he is the nicest person I have ever met. Like, think Mr. Rogers. Times twelve. Here he is with my mother:

Quite apart from Red, the music (of all kinds) was amazing.

The variety of times and places in which Taran was spotted reading was pretty amazing.

 The scenery was amazing.

The friends were amazing.

The family was amazing.

Rarely have I been this displeased on the last day that it was time to leave, but rarely have I felt this good the day after returning home. I don't feel drained by grueling encounters with the outside world; now I mostly just feel like I have better tools for dealing with it. Yay. :) A good week.
